WOLFEBORO -- Dr. Arthur Raymond Fantaci, 87, of Rollingwood Drive, died Jan. 8, 2011, at his home. He was born in Rochester, N.Y. on May 8, 1923 to Giacomo and Josephine (DiGiovanni) Fantaci. He lived most of his life in Rochester and moved to Wolfeboro in 1993. He graduated from the University of Rochester and Tufts Dental School. After graduation, he served his country with the U.S. Navy as a dentist. He worked for many years as an Orthodontist in Rochester, N.Y. and Webster, N.Y. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Ann (Lutz) Fantaci, in 1997. Family members include his son, Arthur Raymond Fantaci of Hopkinton, Mass.; daughter Mary Kathryn MacFarlane of Brookline; and five grandchildren. SERVICES: Calling hours will be Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 85 Mill St., Wolfeboro. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Katharine Drexel Church in Alton. Burial will be in the spring at Lakeview Cemetery in Wolfeboro.
