Adal Moniz

Adal Moniz, 103, a 57-year resident of Marblehead, Massachusetts, before moving to Wolfeboro, New Hampshire to be near her daughter, wife of the late Raymond C. Moniz, passed away at Sunbridge Nursing Home on Wednesday, April 26, 2000. Ms. Moniz was a charter member of the Hobbs Community Club, a member of the Marblehead Women's Club, and the Marblehead Garden Club. She taught rug braiding for many years and her rugs were displayed at the Topsfield Fair where they won numerous prizes. She loved to play contract Bridge and bowled with the Rusty Rollers in Marblehead. Ms. Moniz is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Charles Taylor of Wolfeboro; a son, Raymond C. Moniz Jr. of Harmony, Maine; four grandchildren, Linda Schuler of Rye, New Hampshire, Mark Taylor of Hudson, Massachusetts, Daniel Moniz of Hamilton, Massachusetts, and David Moniz of Danvers, Massachusetts; and nine great-grandchildren.
