Elizabeth Claire Last

Wolfeboro-Elizabeth Claire (Maloney) Last, 83 of Kenyann Dr. died April 15, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. Mrs. Last was born in South Boston, MA August 29, 1927 daughter of the late Dennis Francis and Mary Elizabeth (Cady) Maloney. She has lived in Wolfeboro since 1989 moving here from Melrose, MA. She worked as a telephone operator for New England Telephone retiring after 21 years. In Wolfeboro she was a parishioner of the former St. Cecelia’s Catholic Church and recently St Katharine Drexel in Alton. Pre-deceased by her husband Walter Nelson Last in 2003 and a son Michael Francis Jenkins in 2001 she leaves a son Lawrence Nelson Last of Stoneham, MA, 5 daughters Denise Gagnon of Wolfeboro, Donna Hilgendorf of Manhattan Beach, CA, Betty Ann Thistle of Rochester, NH, Barbara Thistle of South Weymouth, MA, Jacqueline Kilbride of Salem, MA a brother Ralph Kenneth Michael of Northeastern, MA numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service 85 Mill St., Wolfeboro is assisting the family with arrangements.
