Mary E. Ennis

Mary E. Ennis of Tuftonboro died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday July 23 2011. Mrs. Ennis was born on August 26, 1929 in Lowell Ma. to James and Helen Cusick. She attended Lowell public schools and was a graduate of Lowell Commercial College and Nashoba Valley Technical College. Mary married Thomas Ennis on May 30th 1948. She worked for the Federal Civil Defense Administration, The Department of Health Education and Welfare in Boston, Chelmsford Public School and the MITRE Corporation. Mrs. Ennis leaves her husband of 63 years Thomas, her sons Robert and his wife Chan of California, Barry and his wife Jane, her grandchildren Sean and his wife Cassandra, Margaret and a great grandson Beau, all of Tuftonboro. Mary was predeceased by her brother James and his wife Nancy. Calling hours will be Thursday July 28th 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Baker-Gagne Funeral Home, 85 Mill Street, Wolfeboro. Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 Friday July 29th at St. Katherine Drexel in Alton. The family will gather at Baker-Gagne Funeral Home for a final remembrance at 2:00 and proceed to the church.
