John K. Heyl Jr

Tuftonboro-John Kilgour Heyl Jr., 82 of Eaglemere Rd. Tuftonboro died September 7, 2011 at his home in Tuftonboro. Born December 13, 1928 in Cincinnati, OH son of the late John and Edna (Mersfelder) Heyl. He lived in Wrightstown, PA for many years prior to moving to Tuftonboro in 1976. Mr. Heyl served his country with the United States Army as an MP and worked many years as a stock broker most recently for Merrill Lynch. He was a longtime volunteer at Huggins Hospital and loved Tennis and Softball. Survivors include his wife Lydia (Wiegand) Heyl of Tuftonboro, a son John K. Heyl III of New Durham, a daughter Virginia “Jody” Ellen Petit of Priest Lake, ID and 2 grandchildren. Services will be private.
