Jerry C. Lawless

Tuftonboro, NH-Jerry C. Lawless, 73 of Mirror Lake Rd., Mirror Lake, NH died January 19, 2012. Jerry was born in Detroit, Michigan Aug. 30, 1938 son of the late Ernest and Mary Elizabeth (Hickey) Lawless and attended Xavier College in Cincinnati, Ohio. He moved to Tuftonboro from Shrewsbury, MA in1981 after summering there since1968. Gerry owned Lawless Cadillac and Pontiac in Worcester, MA and later owned Lawless Buick and Chevrolet in Wolfeboro, NH. He was a communicant of St. Katharine Drexel Church in Alton, NH and was very active with the church. He was an avid Ocean Yachter, had his pilot’s license, was a member of the National Association of Automobile Dealers, a gun and model train collector, a foodee, an animal lover and a friend and supporter of the humane society. If it had a motor Jerry owned it and fixed it. Pre-deceased by his sister Marianne Lawless he is survived by his wife Judy (Sherman) Lawless of Mirror Lake, 5 children and their spouses Doreen and Larry Murner of Glenmoore, PA, Michael and Donna Lawless of Chicago, IL, Cynthia and Tim Melanson of Wolfeboro, Christine and Tom Ayers of Glen Rock, NJ, Patricia and Aaron Morrissey of Wolfeboro and 14 grandchildren, Elizabeth Murner, Andrew Murner, Mathew Lawless, Connor Lawless, Nicole Lawless, Christopher Melanson, Gregory Melanson, Meaghan Ayers, Allison Ayers, Brian Ayers, Steven Ayers, Abbigail Morrissey, Liam Morrissey, and Carter Morrissey. Calling hours will be 5-8 PM Tuesday January 24 at the Baker-Gagne Funeral Home 85 Mill St., Wolfeboro, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be11:00 AM Wednesday January 25, at St. Katharine Drexel Church in Alton, NH. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in the spring.
