Alton, NH-Francis Arthur Guay, 93 of East Side Dr., Alton died March 4, at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro, NH. Born November 15, 1918 in Lowell, MA son of the late Arthur and Angeline (Simoneau) Guay. Pre-deceased by his wife of fifty six years Anna (Tuttle) Guay and a brother James Guay. He is survived by 2 sons Peter and his wife Rachel Guay of Hawaii, Paul Guay of Tennessee, 3 daughters Margaret and her husband Sargent Crawford of Manchester, NH, Sarah and Don Mitchell of Alton and Elizabeth Guay of New Durham. He is also survived by his brother George Guay, nine grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter, as well as several nieces and nephews. During World War II Francis served his country with the Army Air Corp, having been shot down over Yugoslavia. After thirty years, Frank retired from the State of New Hampshire Liquor Commission as a supervisor. He and Anna made their home in Farmington for many years, moving to Fort Meade Florida in 1983. He returned to New Hampshire in 2008 making his home with family in Alton. There will be no services.
