Russell L. Garland

A Wolfeboro Native Ossipee- Russell Lloyd Garland 69 of Mountain View Community, died August 9 at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro after a long illness. Born in Wolfeboro August 5, 1943, the son of the late Stanley and Edith (Nichols) Garland. He grew up and attended school in Wolfeboro. Russell served his country with the National Guard. He worked as a chef for the Allen A Resort as well as other restaurants. He was also an artist in his spare time. He loved charcoal drawing and oil painting. Russell is survived by his daughter Tina King of Madison, NH; his brother Charles Garland of Deerfield Beach, FL; and his sister Joyce Constant of Gilford, NH. He was pre-deceased by his brother William Garland. A graveside service for the family will be held at a future date at Pine Hill Cemetary in Wolfeboro.
