Stephen Alan Newton

Wolfeboro-Stephen Alan Newton, 63 of North Main St., Wolfeboro, died May 10 at the Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro. Stephen was born in Needham, MA August 4, 1949 son of Rowland and Margaret (Winters) Newton Sr. He moved to Wolfeboro in 2005 from Boston, MA. He served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Stephen worked as a supervisor for the Massachusetts Transit Authority retiring in 2005. He was pre-deceased by his father and a brother Rowland Newton Jr in 2007. Survivors include his wife Nancy (Repoza) Newton of Wolfeboro, a son Casey L. Newton of Wolfeboro, his mother Margaret Newton of Lancaster, a brother David Newton of Tuftonboro his wife’s children and spouses Michael and Teresa, Thomas and Maryann, Scott and Nadine Christine and John and 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A grave side service will be 11:30 am Thursday May 16, at Townhouse Cemetery in Tuftonboro. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wolfeboro is assisting the family with the arrangements.
