Silver Lake, NH-Franklin William LeCoumpte, 70 of Knights Rd., died Sunday Aug. 4, 2013 at his home. Born in Detroit, Michigan February 11, 1943 he was adopted as a child by William and Eunice (Hoard) LeCoumpte. He lived most of his life in Michigan moving to New Hampshire 13 years ago. Franklyn served his country with the United States Air Force and later joined the Air Force Reserves. He worked for many years as an instrument repairman with the Department of Defense. He was a member of the Benevolent Protective order of the Elks, the Moose Club and the Eagles. He enjoyed sports and was a football fan. He loved living here in NH and will be sadly missed. Survivors include his wife Phyllis (Ormsby) LeCoumpte of Silver Lake a son Eric LeCoumpte also of Silver Lake, 3 brothers Glen Buck, Thomas Buck, William LeCoumpte, 2 sisters Lillian Scott and Kathleen June, all of Michigan and several nieces, nephews great nieces and nephews. Visiting Hours will be 7-9 PM Wednesday August 7, at the Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Route 16, West Ossipee, NH. A graveside service will be 10:00 AM Thursday at the Conway Village Cemetery on West Side Rd., Conway, NH.
