Silver Lake, NH-Jeanne Chesley Sargent 80 of Village Rd., Silver Lake died August 15, at her home. Jeanne was born in Exeter, NH on February 27, 1933 daughter of the late Howard Chesley and Josephine Fisk Chesley. She moved to the north country in 1968 from Kennsington, NH with her husband and four kids. She worked for David Haines Real Estate for 8 years and later owned and operated Pleasant Point Camps in T1R11 near Millinocket, Maine for 8 years. She was a former member of the Congregational Church in Conway, a supporter of the National Wildlife Federation, huge Red Sox fan, and an avid bird watcher. She also knit beautiful Irish fisherman’s sweaters. Pre-deceased by her husband Warren L. Sargent and a sister Marcia Wentworth she leaves a son Daniel T. Sargent and his wife Linda D Sargent of Madison, NH, 3 daughters Sherry Sargent of Silver Lake, Darcy S. Kane and husband Charles Kane of Conway, NH, Keely S. DeWitt and husband Robert DeWitt of Conway, and John Stevens of Conway, NH who was like a second son to her. She had 5 grandchildren, Kelby Moore, Zachary Kane, Benjamin Kane, Scott Sargent, Sarah Sargent, Brandon Perry and Ryan Perry. She had two great-grandchildren Cody D. Cox, and Elijah Perry. Also a brother-in-law Paul Wentworth. She had a large loving family and was loved by many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at the church in Madison on Saturday August 31st, 2013 at 1100 am.
