Wolfeboro, NH-Lois Wyman Carey, 79 of Springfield Point Rd., Wolfeboro died September 15, at her home in Wolfeboro. Born in Newton, MA March 10, 1934, daughter of the late Eliot and Grace (Pingree) Wyman, she grew up in Wolfeboro and graduated from Brewster Academy. Lois lived in Detroit, Michigan and attended Albion College. When her husband retired in 1980 they split their time between Bonita Springs, FL and Wolfeboro. In 2003 she moved back to Wolfeboro as a full time resident. She was a member of the Wolfeboro First Congregational Church, PEO Sisterhood Chapter P, Winnipesaukee Country Club, Kingswood Golf Club, the Wolfeboro Historical Society and volunteered with the Huggins Hospital Street Fair Chairing the White Elephant Tent. Pre-Deceased by a daughter Jane W. Carey and a brother Elliot Wyman, she is survived by her husband Rolph D. Carey of Wolfeboro, her sons R. Douglas Carey of Brooksville and ME, Stephen W. Carey of Key West, FL. and her grandson Nicholas Carey. A Memorial Service date and time will be announced at a later date. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wolfeboro is assisting the family with the arrangements.
