Tuftonboro-Paul Deane Clarke, 81 of Oakhill Rd., died Wednesday November 6, at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover. Mr. Clarke was born in Concord, NH August 12, 1932 son of the late Robert and Grace (Hirtle) Clarke. After graduating from Penacook High School he served his country with the United States Airforce during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam and was stationed in several remote stations in the United States and foreign countries. He retired from the Airforce after 20 years as a Staff Sergeant Diesel Power Generator Technician. After retirement he moved to Wyoming and has lived in Tuftonboro for the past 40 plus years. Survivors include a son Dana Clarke of Gillette, WY, a daughter Candy Johnson of Gillette, WY, a brother Richard Clarke of Wolfeboro, a sister Joye Olson of Concord, 3 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday November 13, at the Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 85 Mill St., Wolfeboro, NH. Inurnment will be 1:30 PM, at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Rd., Suite 200, Bethesda, Maryland 20814.
