Esther Reynolds Blanchard

Melvin Village-Esther (Reynolds) Blanchard, 94 formerly of Melvin Village., died May 23, 2014 at Mountain View Community in Ossipee. Born August 3, 1919 in Lynn, MA daughter of the late Henry W. and Lottie (MacGray) Reynolds she has lived in Melvin Village since 1978 moving there from Lynn. Esther was a member of the Hikers Club and The Beacons. Pre-Deceased by her husband Arthur L. Blanchard in 1998, 2 sons Arthur L. Blanchard Jr in 2004, Lee Blanchard in 2012, 2 brothers Charles and Henry Blanchard and 2 sisters Charlotte Goodwin and Martha Nichols survivors include a son William Blanchard of West Deering, NH a daughter Beth Magee of Wolfeboro, daughter in law Susan Blanchard of Maryland, a sister Marion Paine of Fryeburg, ME, 5 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM Thursday June 5, at Townhouse Cemetery in Tuftonboro. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Friends of Mountain View, C/O Mountain View Community, 93 Water Village Rd., Ossipee, NH 03894. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wolfeboro is assisting the family with the arrangements.
