Fryeburg, ME-Richard William Williams, 91 of 16 Silver Parkway, died Wednesday June 25 at Memorial Hospital in North Conway, NH. Born in Tamworth June 19, 1923 son of the late Charles Justin and Lilla (Pennell) Williams he grew up in Tamworth and has lived in the area all of his life. Richard served his country during the Korean Conflict with the United States Army and then went on to serve in the Army Reserve for an additional 8 years. He worked for RG Watkins as an engineer for many years. He attended the First Church of Christ in Conway. Pre-Deceased by his wife Dorothy (Lancaster) Williams in 1998, a grandson Shawn Willard, 2 brothers Charles Williams Jr., Robert Williams and a sister Beverly Ames he is survived by 2 sons Bruce Williams of Center Ossipee, Barry Williams of Sunapee, a daughter Belinda Cullen of Center Ossipee, a brother Paul Williams of Tamworth, 3 sisters Agnes W. Merrow of Center Ossipee, Mildred W. Hobbs of Tamworth, Frances Brownell of Center Ossipee, 3 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-3 PM Monday June 30, 2014 with the Funeral at 3PM at the Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 2395 White Mountain Highway, Route 16, West Ossipee, NH. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Tamworth.
