Eugene Lucian Stabile

Wolfeboro-Eugene Lucian Stabile, 83 of 43 Winnipesaukee Drive, died Tuesday July 22, 2014 at Genesis Healthcare-Wolfeboro Bay Center in Wolfeboro. Gene was born January 16, 1931 in Pittsburgh, PA son of the late Anthony and Josephine (Grippo) Stabile. Prior to moving to Wolfeboro in 2001 he lived in Danville, NH for many years. At the time of the Korean Conflict he was an officer in the Army Artillery. Gene worked for the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA as the Director of Materials Management for many years. He was a member of the Men’s Guild at Holy Family Church. Survivors include his wife Carole (Jordan) Stabile of Wolfeboro, 2 sons Eugene Stabile of Tampa, FL, Jordan Stabile of Somerville, MA, a daughter Regina Stabile of Hillsboro, NC, 2 step children Heather Akoury of Hillsborough, NC, and Douglas Wilay who’s in the Military, 3 brothers Louis Stabile of Pittsburgh, PA, Anthony Stabile of Altamonte Springs, FL, Amadeo Stabile of Pittsburgh, PA and 3 step grandchildren.
