Albert F. Anson

Freedom, NH-Albert Frederick Anson, 81 of West Danforth Rd., Freedom, NH died Sept. 2, 2014 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. Born August 8, 1933 in Boston, MA son of the late Frederick Wihilem and Pauline (Bogan) Anson he has lived in Freedom since 1995 moving there from Quincy, MA. Albert served his country during the Korean Conflict with the United States Marines. He worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs as an Administrator for many years. He was a member of the Caddy Post in Quincy, MA. Pre-deceased by a sister Ina Derry formerly of Dennisport, MA. Survivors include his wife Phyllis Jane (Hadley) Anson of Freedom, 2 sons Mark A. Anson and his partner Richard Venti of Orleans, MA, Scott H. and his wife Mary Ellen Anson of Braintree, MA, Laurie J. Kole and her fiancée Robert Depietro Jr. of Carver, MA, Heather D. Leeman and her fiancée Dana Roy of Easton, MA, a sister Meta Travers of Sarasota, FL 7 grandchildren Mathew Anson, Nicholas Anson, Derek Anson, Dakota Kole, Jade Stone, Kaylee Leeman and Jessica Leeman. A private burial will be the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
