Andrew "Drew" Helfin III

Tuftonboro, NH - Andrew “Drew” J. Helfin III, 71 of Brickfield Way, Mirror Lake, NH peacefully died on April 24, at his home after a brief illness. Born April 27, 1943 in Somerville, NJ son of the late Andrew James and Marguerite (Totton) Helfin he had lived in Basking Ridge, NJ most of his life moving to Mirror Lake 17 years ago. Drew worked for the Bernards Police Dept. in Basking Ridge for 30 years retiring as a Sergeant. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, cruise nights with his corvette, riding his Harley and tinkering around the house. He is survived by his wife Brenda (Polchies) Helfin of Mirror Lake, a son Drew Helfin of Somerville, NJ, a brother Bradley Helfin of Stewartsville, NJ, and a sister Shirley Ike of Vero Beach, FL. There will be no service. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wolfeboro, NH is assisting the family with the cremation.
