Wolfeboro-Patrick Michael Hopkins, 64 of Alpine Meadows, Wolfeboro died Aug. 9, at Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover, NH. Born Nov. 8, 1950 in Brookline, MA, son of the late Raymond and Arline Marie (Nelson) Hopkins he grew up in Berlin, NH and has lived in the area for over 20 years moving here from Manchester, NH. Patrick worked as a special education teacher at the Hope School in Rochester for several years and he recently retired from Lakeview Neuro Rehab. in Effingham after working there for 11 years. He had a passion for the ocean and lake and loved to spend as much time as possible on the beach. He loved his children and especially loved and enjoyed his grandchildren. They were his everything. Survivors include his wife Lorie (Bolduc) Hopkins of Wolfeboro, 2 sons Casey Hopkins of Wolfeboro, Zachary Hopkins of Effingham, 2 daughters Kelly Hopkins of Conway and her fiance John Mullen, Kimberly Hopkins of Effingham, 1 stepdaughter Becki Sthilaire, 2 stepsons Steven Porelle of Ossipee and his partner Amy Bergeron, Michael Porelle of Rochester and his wife Rachel, a sister Judy Blais of Gorham and her husband Roland, and 5 grandchildren Alex Hopkins, Kaiden Hopkins, Avery Hopkins, Katherine Porelle and Andre’ Porelle and 2 stepgrandson Kody Sthilaire and Brendan Bergeron, and his nephew Jeffrey Blais. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Pitney Boathouse at Brewster Academy. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice in his name. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wolfeboro is assisting the family with the arrangements.
