Wolfeboro-David George Skarnulis, 76 of Upper Trask Mtn. Rd., died October 2, 2015 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. Dave was born in New York Sept. 21, 1939 son of the late George and Adele Skarnulis. He lived most of his life in New York 25 of those years in Washingtonville, NY moving to Wolfeboro in 2004. Dave was inventory manager in parts for Worldwide Volkswagen/Audi distributor and worked for Volkswagen of America for 44 years. He served his country with the United States Army. He attended New York City Community College and St. Johns University. Dave enjoyed motorcycle touring with his wife Bess and with his motorcycle club and friends. Dave was very active in the Wolfeboro Community as a member of the Wolfeboro Rotary Club volunteering as the Chairman of the Rotary Christmas Trees for many years and was involved with many other Rotary Fund raisers, a member of the board for Hearthstone Homes, volunteering for Meals on Wheels and was treasurer for the North Wolfeboro Area Association. He had a love for Motorcycles, enjoyed driving his restored 1954 Ford “BUNCHY”, loved gardening and flowers and enjoyed playing with and training his dog Charley. Dave was a loyal and dedicated true friend. Pre-Deceased by his sister Dorothy Hayes he is survived by his wife Elizabeth Skarnulis, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Calling Hours will be 4-7 PM Saturday October 10, at the Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 85 Mill St., Wolfeboro with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM.
