Richard Lloyd Heidel

Wolfeboro-Richard Heidel, of Baas Dr., Wolfeboro Passed October 5, 2015 at his home. Dick was born Feb. 7, 1933 in Bronx, NY son of the late Richard W. and Ethel (O’Donnel) Heidel. He grew up in the Bronx and lived for many years in Chelmsford, MA prior to moving to Wolfeboro in 1998. Dick served his country with the United States Navy. He worked as an engineer in the Aerospace industry for Lockheed Martin retiring in 1998. Dick was an avid golfer, skier and boatman. He was a member of the Wolfeboro Lions Club, the Kingswood Golf Club and the Wolfeboro 4th of July parade Chair Brigade. Survivors include his wife of 57 years Kordi (Nordlund) Heidel of Wolfeboro, his daughter Lisa Heidel and her significant other Steven White of Brooklin, ME, their 3 children Brenton, Lilia and Colin, his son Eric and his wife Dianne (McLenna) Heidel and their two daughters Shannon and Katelyn of Brookline, NH. A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday Oct. 10, at the Kingswood Golf Club Clubhouse on South Main St., Wolfeboro. Donations may be made in his memory to VNA/Hospice, PO Box 1620, Wolfeboro, NH 03894. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wolfeboro is assisting the family with the arrangements.
