MEREDITH, NH — Marjorie Francis (Squires) Everett, 86, residing at Forestview Manor, died Wednesday, October 28, 2015. She was born in Newfoundland, Canada, on September 19, 1929, the daughter of the late Hubert and Bessie Squires. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Frederick E. Everett. She was a member of the First Parish United Church of Christ (Congregational) in Somersworth. Survivors include seven children: Richard Squires of Nova Scotia, Canada; Judith Drummond of Hickory, NC; Gloria Adams of Conover, NC; Diane Moreira of Havelock, NC; Evelyn E. Vitagliano of Melbourne, FL; Frederick E. Everett Jr., of Rockledge, FL; and Mark D. Everett of Wells, ME; fourteen grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and nieces & nephews. Marjorie, a kind and gentle soul, was dedicated homemaker who deeply loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and spent many years cheering them on through their ups and downs. She greatly enjoyed water activities including swimming, beaching and boating as well as the simpler activities of regular walks and feeding birds. Her wonderful spirit and beautiful smile will be cherished forever. There will be a private graveside service at Newington Cemetery located at 284 Nimble Hill Road, Newington, NH on Tuesday, November 3rd at 2 pm. presided by Pastor Mark Rideout of First Parish UCC (Congregational).
