Priscilla (Donlan) Browning, 85, died November 15, 2015 peacefully, at her home, surrounded by loved ones. Born November 6, 1930 in Mansfield, MA daughter of the late Stan and Myrtle (Morse) Donlan she grew up in Mansfield; lived in Sudbury, MA for 29 years and has lived in Silver Lake since 1986. Priscilla graduated from Newton Welsley Hospital School of Nursing with a degree as a Registered Nurse. She was a devoted mother, life long volunteer and an active member of St. Andrews in the Valley Episcopal Church in Tamworth. Her family and friends will remember Priscilla for her warm smile, generosity, kindness, intelligence, insightfulness and grace. She was so grateful to raise her family in Sudbury with all of the close connections that were bonded with neighbors who became family. She enjoyed nature, travel, the loons of Silver Lake, her many dogs, spending time with and entertaining her family and friends. Pre-Deceased by her husband Robert B. Browning in 1983 and her second husband Rodger K. Furse in 2003. She is survived by her children Amy C. Browning of Hailey, ID, Marla A. Browning of Eaton and Stephen R. Browning of Conway as well as her grandchildren, Joshua Browning of Bartlett NH, Ethan Cairns of New Zealand, Jenna Ferguson and her husband Hamilton of Bloomfield KY a brother Bill Donlan of West Bridgewater, MA, a sister Barbara Hughes of Florida and a beloved nephew, Robert Hughes and his family of Lithia FL. A Memorial Service will be held Friday December 4, 2015 at 4 pm at St. Andrews in the Valley Church. There will be a graveside burial service at Wadsworth Cemetery in Sudbury, MA on November 28 at Noon. The family would like to extend gratitude to Deanna, Colleen, Charlene and Leslie for all of the love, care and support they showed Priscilla.
