S. Donald McCullough of Alton, New Hampshire and Boynton Beach, Florida was born on May 31, 1943 and passed away unexpectedly on November, 30, 2015 at the age of 72. A native of Buffalo, NY, Don attended Canisius High School, was graduated from John Carroll University and received his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Buffalo. While attending Canisius High School, Don met Susan Ann Jankowski. In 1966 they married at St. Benedict Church and began their life together in Campus Manor in Eggertsville, NY. Don and Susan raised three girls, Christie Marie, Kelly Ann and Colleen Anne. Don began his career at Sylvania in Batavia, NY working for Arthur “Mike” Poor Jr. who became a mentor and life-long life friend. Don enjoyed a thirty year career at GTE Sylvania retiring in 1993. He later went on to work with Signature Brands in Chicago, IL and Cleveland, OH, and most recently was a consultant to several companies. He proudly served on numerous volunteer boards and organizations including the IRS Vita, school committees, his Church, neighborhood associations and was currently the treasurer of Quail Ridge Country Club. Don and Susan enthusiastically celebrated their daughters’ marriages to Michael Wiley, David Ranney and Brett Fellows. Beginning in 1999 they embraced their role as grandparents to Caroline, Peter & Charlie Ranney, Grace and Margaret Fellows and Sara and Mikey Wiley. On Friday December 4, from 3-7 pm, the McCullough’s welcome family and friends to remember Don at Baker – Gagne Funeral home (85 Mill Street Wolfeboro, NH 03894). A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am Saturday December 5th at St. Katharine Drexel (40 Hidden Springs Road Alton, NH 03809). Besides Susan and his girls, Don leaves a brother Daniel P McCullough of Minneapolis, MN. He was predeceased by his brother Dennis J McCullough. He also leaves his longtime friend John J Jureller of Colden, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests that donations be made to the Building Fund at St. Katharine Drexel.
