Manchester-John Norbert Blouin, 68 of Cohas Ave., Manchester died Dec. 26, at Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA. Born in Manchester Sept. 17, 1947 son of the late Norbert “Bob” Blouin and Yvette (Beaulieu) Boulanger. John graduated from Saint Anthony’s School in Manchester. He attended Saint Anslem’s college for a semester before joining the Marine Reserves during the Vietnam War. John worked in retail throughout his life – The 88 Restaurant, Grand Union, Zayres, Lechmere, Macy’s, Fallon’s Furniture and Bob’s Discount Furniture from where he retired. John loved building things for his home – play-set when kids were young, shed to store lawnmower and a billion shelves around the house – gardening, watching Fox News and enjoying the outdoors in New Hampshire. He is survived by his wife, Carla (Stock) Blouin, sister Denise (Blouin) Burton, brother Donald Blouin, his children David Blouin, Michael Blouin and his wife Jessica, Alexander Blouin and his wife Ashton, Benjamin Blouin, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be 2 PM Saturday Jan. 2 at Faith Baptist Church Mammoth Rd., Manchester, NH. Burial will be private on Cotton Mountain in Wolfeboro.
