Stuart Osborne Copp

Milton-Stuart Osborne Copp, 74 of School St, Milton, NH passed away peacefully at home on March 21, 2016. Born in Quincy, MA March 24, 1941 son of the late Stuart Osborne and Mary (Varney) Copp, he grew up in Braintree, MA and moved throughout the country settling in Milton in 2000. Stuart served his country with the National Guard. While living in Milton he worked as a HVAC engineer for Strogens Service Experts in Rochester. He attended the First Christian Church in Wolfeboro, was a member of the Pipe Fitters Union, Local 537 in Boston and enjoyed playing tennis, gardening and boating. Survivors include his wife Joan (Flockhart) Copp of Milton, a son Michael Copp of Rockport, MA, 2 daughters Jennifer Copp and partner Raymond Vermette of Rollinsford, NH, Lynn Dancause of Ossipee, NH, a stepson Ben Bradford III and daughter-in-Law Raegan Bradford of Kailua, HI, four grandsons Michael Copp, Jr., Matthew Copp, Samuel Forsythe, and Ben Bradford IV, and granddaughter Grace Forsythe; two sisters Linda Whitcomb of Hanover, MA, Tina Weekly of Douglas, MA and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Stuart’s life service will be held Tuesday March 29th at 4:00 PM at the First Christian Church, North Main St., Wolfeboro, NH a reception will follow at the Brewster Academy boathouse, 80 Academy Drive, Wolfeboro. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Attention Dr. David Fisher, Department of Hematology/Oncology, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery at a later date.
