Wolfeboro, NH-William Francis Gehan, 82 of Chipmunk Lane Wolfeboro died April 5, at his home in Wolfeboro. Born in Lyons, NY May 29, 1933 son of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Meyers) Gehan he has lived in Wolfeboro since 1999 moving here from Rochester, NY. During the Korean Conflict he served his country with the United States Navy. He was a graduate of Boston College and Georgetown University Law School. Bill worked as a Marketing Executive for Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY. He was a parishioner of and was active with St. Katharine Drexel Church in Alton, NH, the Boy Scouts of America, volunteered for Hospice, was a certified substance abuse counselor, active with Rochester, NY politics and was a member of the Selection Committee for service academies. Survivors include his wife Audrey (VanGorden) Gehan, 2 sons William Gehan of Boston, MA, Thomas and his wife Michelle Gehan of Hollis, NH, 3 daughters Anne and her husband John McNamara of Melvin Village, NH, Kathleen Childs of Winthrop, MA Mary and her husband Joseph Palmer of Saugus, MA, 8 grandchildren Jack, Elizabeth, William McNamara, Charlotte, Eliza, Paul Gehan, Emily and Lucy Childs. Calling Hours will be 5-7 PM Thursday April 7 at the Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 85 Mill St., Wolfeboro, NH. A Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:30 am Friday April 8, at St Katharine Drexel Church, 40 Hidden Springs Rd., Alton, NH.
