Walter Gordon Crafts Jr

Madison, NH-Walter G. Crafts JR, 79 of East Madison Rd., died July 4, 2016 at his home. Born in Melrose, MA November 23, 1936 son of the late Walter G. and Lily (Hughes) Crafts, he lived in Dennis Port Cape Cod prior to moving to Madison in 1996. He served his country with the United States Army. Walter worked as a lines man for Common Wealth Electric for many years. Growing up in Melrose he was a member of the Demolays. In South Dennis he was a former member of the Masonic Lodge #242 and the Masona Chapter #134, he was also a former Trustee of the West Harwich Library. During his retirement he had various occupations and enjoyed working for LL Bean the best. Survivors include his wife Eileen (Flannery) Crafts of Madison, 2 sons and their wives John A. and Susan Crafts of East Hampton, MA, Thomas M. and Ashby Crafts of Harwich Port, MA 2 brothers Barry Crafts of Eustis, ME, Glenn and his wife Robin Crafts of South Dennis, MA, 2 grandchildren Andrew and Brian and a dear friend since High School Robert A. Emerich of Galveston, TX. His wife would like to thank all of Walter’s caregivers. Service will be announced at a later date.
