Linwood Lloyd Hopkinson

Wolfeboro-Linwood L. (Hoppy) Hopkinson, 89 of Varney Rd., died Sunday Sept. 25 at Frisbee Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Born in Tuftonboro June 24, 1927 son of the later Thomas and Sarah E. Joyce Hopkinson, he was a lifelong resident of Wolfeboro. Hoppy worked for Davidson Rubber in Farmington and was a longtime fixture of Wolfeboro having worked at IGA in Wolfeboro for many years. Pre-Deceased by his wife Ruth (Dick) Hopkinson in 2010, a granddaughter Kelsey I 2011, 3 sisters Gladys Kent, Elizabeth Loverson-Dawson, Virginia Hopkinson and a brother Wilfred Hopkinson he leaves 2 sons Thomas Hopkinson of Goffstown, Ronald Hopkinson of Keene, a sister Louise Millar of Lynnfield, MA and a grandson Jayson Hopkinson. A graveside service will be 8:00 AM Saturday October 8, at Lakeview Cemetery in Wolfeboro. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting the family with the arrangements.
