Kenneth David Martinsen

Manchester-Kenneth David Martinsen, 61 of Manchester, passed away peacefully at his home December 31, 2016, after a long-illness.   Ken was born in Staten Island, NY June 20, 1955 son of the late Sven and Janet (Stirn) Martinsen.   Prior to his illness, he worked as warehouse manager for Century Box in Metheun, MA.   Ken enjoyed playing golf and was a long time member of the Kingswood Golf Club in Wolfeboro. He was a wiz in competitive Bridge and an avid fan of professional football and baseball.   Survivors include 2 daughters Heather Faith Grabow and her husband Chris of TwentyNine Palms, CA, Katie Elizabeth Beer and her husband Scott of Riverside, RI, a brother Glenn Martinsen and his wife Christine of Wolfeboro and Sun Lakes, Arizona and 2 grandchildren Hannah and Christopher Grabow.   A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ken's memory to CMC Diabetes Research Center www.catholicmedicalcenter.org/diabetes-resource-institute/   The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wolfeboro is assisting the family with the arrangements.
