Wolfeboro, NH - Alfred E. Thomson, of Wolfeboro, passed away at Age 95, on November 9, 2020 at his home. Born April 7, 1925 in Haverhill, MA son of the late Charles M. and Cora (Ritter) Thomson he is a graduate of Haverhill High School and Franklin Technical School. He served during WWII with the 111th infantry in the Pacific area. Pre-deceased by his first wife Eloise (Drisko) Thomson in 1977; his second wife Sharon (Rogers) Thomson in 2016; his brother Charles M. Thomson Jr.; and grandson Michael Collins. He leaves a daughter and her husband Sandra and Charles Collins of Raymond, NH; a son and his wife Thomas and Dawn Thomson of Danbury, NH; two grandchildren Alec and Sharleigh Thomson; and brother and his wife Robert & Wilma Thomson. He was a longtime resident of West Newbury, MA and retired from AT&T with over 30 years of service. In retirement he spent his winters in Florida. He was a longtime member of the American Legion and Merrimack Lodge F&AM. He enjoyed fishing and boating on the Merrimack River and ocean and winter sports in his younger years.
