Alice A. Phillips, 94 formerly of Trotting Track Rd., Wolfeboro passed away September 25, at Villa Crest Nursing Home in Manchester. Alice was born October 12, 1924 in Malden, MA daughter of the late Stilson and Agnes (Holmes) Littlefield. She moved to Wolfeboro in 1979 from North Reading, MA. Alice worked for the Campfire Girls in Boston for many years. She was a past president of the Wolfeboro Wranglers, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, was a school volunteer and enjoyed needlepoint and cross stitch. Pre-deceased by her husband Herbert Wellington Phillips in 1981, a daughter Marilyn McBride and a sister Edith Chamberlain she leaves a son Dana and his wife Cindy Phillips of Hampstead and 4 grandchildren Chris Phillips, Nate Phillips, Elizabeth Lilling and John McBride. Alice was buried alongside her husband at Lakeview Cemetery in Wolfeboro. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Homes and Cremation Service is assisting the family with the arrangements.
