She grew up in Duxbury, MA, Ann attended college at Bouve’ Boston School of Physical Education affiliated with Tufts University in Brighton, MA. They returned to her beloved Duxbury where they began their life together and started their family. Ann enthusiastically embraced each move they made, living in Chicago and then California, where she sought new opportunities to pursue her artistic and creative endeavors, volunteer work, singing in the church choir, and writing her newspaper column for the Contra Costa Times. In 1986 they returned to their beloved “Foxwood” at the Lake where Arnold’s family had been since 1935 and spent 6 months a year until they permanently moved in 1994 .There Ann hosted her annual Bouve’ reunion for 25 years and was happiest when she was surrounded by friends and family.
