Barbara Ann Hynes

Barbara (Keating) Hynes passed away in the early hours of Saturday June 20. Born on March 20, 1941, she was the daughter of Daniel and Julia ( Kelleher) Keating. Barbara spent her early years in Arlington, Ma, later in Marshfield and Duxbury MA. “Home” was West Ossipee NH and Donaldston PEI Canada. Barbara married Elmer Hynes on April 28, 1962. They recently celebrated their 58th anniversary. They had three children, Dan (Sachie) of Campbell CA, Beth (Rudy Meyer) of Wolfeboro NH and Amy (Rick Paul) of Ware MA. Barbara is also survived by her grandchildren Sadie (Cody), Tana, Kai, Liam, Kristy, Erin and Brody, her brother Dan Keating (Rita) of Arlington Ma and her sister Helen Cardarelli (Larry) of Venice Florida. She was predeceased by her sister Marie Gauvin. In addition, she was blessed with many nieces, nephews and friends. Barbara’s family wishes to thank all who helped her during her journey through dementia, especially the incredibly caring staff at The Wolfeboro Bay Center. A special thank you to Sue, Laura, Paula, Jen, Allie, Sarah, Rebecca, Erika and her dear friend Sally. A celebration of life will be held at a later date due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
