Carol Cook Anthony

Freedom-Carol Cook Anthony, 81 of Village Rd., Freedom passed away at her home on May 19, 2019.   Carol was born in Newport, RI April 15, 1938 daughter of the late Clinton Edward Jr. and Bessie Mae (Thomas) Cook.  She moved to the area in 1956 from Portsmouth, RI. In RI she worked as a dental hygienist for Dr Carreiro. In NH she worked as a dental hygienist for Dr Demarais in wolfeboro for 10 years.  She also worked at Purity Springs Resort in East Madison, Darby Field Inn in Albany and the Pioneer Restaurant in Tamworth.She was an avid reader,gardener, and a tireless volunteer.   Carol is survived by a son Michael Anthony of Conway, Sherry Rehm of Freedom, a brother Thomas Cook of Middletown, RI, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.   A Memorial Service will be held at Baker-Gagne Funeral Home 2395 White Mtn.
