Carolyn Cooke Mock, 92, of Wolfeboro, NH, (formerly of East Greenwich, RI), passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on February 28, 2021. She was the wife of the late Charles N. Mock. Born on April 12, 1928 to Carrie W. Cooke and William G. Cooke, of Kernersville, NC, Carolyn attended Kernersville High School and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Carolyn and her husband met in New York City in 1952 where she worked in the corporate office of Bristol Meyers Drug Company and he was a special agent of the FBI. They were married in 1954 and remained in NYC, where both of their children were born, until 1961. They then relocated to New England. In her younger days, Carolyn was an active member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in East Greenwich, RI. She joined All Saints Church in Wolfeboro, NH when she and Charles moved to Wolfeboro. Carolyn enjoyed antiquing as well as listening to music, reading, and spending time at the beach. She kept the spirit of Christmas in her heart year-round. Above all else she enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her family. Carolyn is survived by her son, Charles, Jr. and his wife Donna, of Seattle, WA and her daughter, Cynthia and her husband Dennis, of Wolfeboro, NH; 5 grandchildren: Erica and her husband Andrew of Sharon, MA; Adam and his wife Ashley of Coventry, RI; Andrew and his wife Sara of Norwood, MA; Erin and her husband Christopher of Everett, WA; and Nathan of Seattle, WA; and 6 great grandchildren: John of Sharon, MA; Samuel of Sharon, MA; Fiona of Norwood, MA; Penelope of Coventry, RI; Charles of Everett, WA and Lucas of Sharon MA.
