Daniel Charles Cashman

Wolfeboro-Daniel Charles Cashman, 77 of Santis Way, Wolfeboro died October 1, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.   Dan was born January 5, 1940 in Lynn, MA son of the late Charles Daniel and Dorothy (Hanscom) Cashman. He grew up in Lynn, MA and moved to Wolfeboro in 1997 from West Newbury, MA.   Dan graduated from Newburyport HS class of 1957 and worked as a maintenance foreman for General Electric for many years. He was a past member of the West Newbury Fire Department, Gardner Hand Tub and Marching Band.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working outside, snowmobiling and was active with several snowmobile clubs.  He also played the trumpet with the Cate Park band.   Pre-deceased by a daughter Kathleen Cashman, and a brother Steven Cashman he leaves his wife Julie C. (Duffy) Cashman of Wolfeboro, 2 sons Michael Cashman of West Newbury, MA, Charles Cashman of Haverhill, MA, a daughter Debra Cashman of Salisbury, MA, 2 step sons Michael King of Ashburg, VA, Brian King of Wolfeboro, a brother John Cashman of Dalton, NH, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.   A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in West Newbury, MA.   The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wolfeboro and West Ossipee is assisting the family with the arrangements.   Please share your messages, stories, or leave a short note and sign an online guest book at www.baker-gagnefuneralhomes.com
