David Livingstone Chase

David Livingstone Chase, 91 of Wild Rose Lane, Holderness, NH passed away at his home July 10, 2024 with his family at his side.
David was born in Drexill Hill, PA June 17, 1933 son of the late Horatio J. and Alice (Mann) Chase. He has lived in Holderness for the past 24 years previously living in Tuftonboro, Ossipee and Florida.
David graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting then worked as an accountant for Johnson and Johnson and then Chase Associates. He later founded Chase Builders of Tuftonboro and built many homes in the Wolfeboro and Tuftonboro area. David ended his work career as a realtor in both Wolfeboro and Ossipee. He enjoyed genealogy, golf and traveling, particularly to England where his mother was born.
David met his wife during high school in Everett, MA and they were married for 69 years. Pre-deceased by his daughter Linda Chase, he is survived by his loving wife Joan Nickerson Chase, two sons David Chase Jr. of Surry, NH, Dan Chase, of Haddam Neck, CT, and his daughter Mona Chase Tardif of Sandwich, NH. He is also survived by his brother Bob Chase of Louisville, KY, his sister Floss Riegel of Camp Hill, PA, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday 10:00 AM July 20, 2024, at the Baker-Gagne Funeral Home, 85 Mill St., Wolfeboro, NH. Burial will follow in Townhouse Cemetery, Tuftonboro, NH. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that those interested can make donations to their favorite charities.
