Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Davie, 88 of Melvin Village, NH peacefully passed away July 22, 2022 at her home in Melvin Village. Betty was born in Newark, NJ January 6, 1934 daughter of the late Angelo R. Casmas and Iverna (Taylor) Casmas Kuver. She spent her early childhood in Long Island, NY then moved to NJ in 1945. Upon marrying the late John Davie she moved to Auburn, NH in 1968. She relocated to Melvin Village with her partner, the late Donald Duchano in 1996. Betty worked as a secretary for Hanover Insurance for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, poetry and crossword puzzles. Survivors include a son John S. Mars Jr. and wife Karen, former daughter-in-law Catherine McCauley and husband Charles. A brother Richard Casmas and his wife Harriet of NJ. Grandsons, Christopher Mars, his fiancee Brandee, and her daughter Ava, Justin Mars and his wife Jennifer and great grandchild, Leah Wilson-Mars. Beloved niece, Christine Woodland and other loved nieces and nephews. The Duchano family Bill & Ellen Duchano, Lynn Lineham, Karen and Mark Muscarello, Grandchildren Ben and Sarah Duchano, David Lineham, Donald and Bree Muscarello and a Great Grandson Elijah Muscarello. A Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM August 21 at the Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 85 Mill St., Wolfeboro, NH. The family asks you to wear Betty's favorite color, purple.
