Ernest Granville Riley, Jr

Ernie G. Riley, Jr., 85 of Ossipee, son of the late Ernest Riley, Sr. and Beatrice Riley of Ossipee passed away on August 20, 2024. He is predeceased by his wife, Susan, of 52 years.

Ernie is survived by his three children; son William Riley and wife Donna of Wolfeboro, daughter Kristie Senecal and husband Craig of Ossipee, and Adam Riley and wife Carolyn of Ossipee. He has six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren with one on the way.

Ernie entered the U.S. Airforce straight out of high school, serving for 4 years from April of 1958 – May of 1962. Ernie served as an aircraft engine mechanic. He then worked for several auto dealerships in the area from 1962 – 1991 beginning his work as a mechanic and then went to selling cars as a salesman. Ernie then worked for N.H. Electric Cooperative as a meter reader and in the warehouse from 1994 – 2009. Ernie then retired in 2009.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Water Village Community Church 370 Water Village Road, Ossipee, N.H. 03864. A memorial service will be determined at a later date.
