Tuftonboro, NH-Fred Caswell Hunt, 88, of Crossneck Rd., Tuftonboro passed away August 22 at Mountain View Community in Ossipee, NH. Born in Newburyport, MA, Nov. 2, 1931 son of the late Fred Lindsey and Laura F. (Jewett) Hunt he lived most of his life in Newburyport moving to Tuftonboro in 2004. Fred served his country for six years with the Army National Guard. He was a self- employed electrician in NH and MA. Fred was active with the Masons and Shriners, a life member of Blue Lodge St. Marks in Newburyport, King Cyrus Chapter, Amesbury Council, Comandre #3 in Newburyport, Aleppo Temple in Wilmington, MA. He was also a member of the First Settlers of Newbury, MA, the Jewett Family of America, the American Radio Relay League and he was a Ham Radio Operator. Pre-deceased by his wife in 2019 Evelyn (Foley) Woodsom Hunt he is survived by a stepson and his wife James and Donna Woodsom of Tuftonboro, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
