James Bruce Kintner

James Bruce Kintner, 84 of Beach Pond Rd., Wolfeboro passed away September 18 at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro. Born in Fairgrove, Michigan August 7, 1938 son of the late Bruce Edson and Helma (Broderick) Kintner he grew up in Michigan and lived many years in Middletown, RI prior to moving to New Hampshire 36 years ago. Jim worked as a supervisor in the communication dept of NUWC for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was well loved by many. Pre-deceased by his wife Anna (Arruda) Kintner, a son Peter Vargas, a daughter Betty Amaral, a brother Keith Kintner, a sister Kay McPherson he is survived by 3 sons Henry J. Vargas of Springfield, MA, James Kintner Jr. of Wolfeboro, Bruce O. Kintner of Bristol, RI, 5 daughters Janet Mello of Portsmouth, RI, Sandy Michalczik of Newport, RI, Susan Macabe of Virginia, Diane Mountain of North Carolina, Deborah Kintner of Wolfeboro, 1 brother Gene Kintner and wife Linda , 3 sisters Irene and her husband Glen Bradley, Shirley Janos, Linda Valentine and husband Jim , several grandchildren including Bruce Kintner Jr Michelle Kintner, Jessica Kintner, Bryan Maciver, James Hay, Bruce Hartin and many more grandchildren and great grandchildren. Service will be held at a later date. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home of Wolfeboro, NH is assisting the family with the arrangements.
