Tamworth- Janet Elaine Sanborn, 78 of Tamworth, died November 11, at the Merriman House in North Conway where she has resided for the last 10 years. Born in North Conway September 26, 1940 daughter of the late Forrest and Mary (Leavitt) Woodward, she was a life resident of Tamworth. Janet worked as a waitress for the Pioneer Restaurant in Tamworth for many years. She enjoyed going for car rides. Pre-Deceased by her husband Raymond Francis Sanborn, her mother and father, a sister Carol Chase, a brother Howard Woodward and 3 grandchildren Ashleylynn Ross, Darren and David Roberts she leaves 2 daughters Peg and her husband Keith Ross of Tamworth, Lisa Thorndike of Manchester, 3 brothers Freeman Woodward of Colebrook, Robert Woodward of Tamworth, Melvin Woodward of Tamworth, a sister Marilyn Elliott of Albany, 4 grandchildren Scott and his wife Jessica Ross and their daughter, Kendell, Eric Ross and his children Gavin, Carter and Jarrett, Deni and her husband Evan Shangraw and their son Oaken, Erica and her husband Zac Ordway and their daughter Rogue. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Sunday November 18, at the Fowlers Mills Cemetery in Tamworth. A reception will follow at Runnals Hall in Tamworth.
