Judith Mitchell

Judith O. (Austin)Mitchell, age 84, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2023  at Pleasant View Center in Concord NH. She was the beloved wife of Bernard W. Mitchell of Tuftonboro NH. Surviving her are her five children, daughters Jackie Raymond of Manchester NH, Vicki Randall of Brookfield, NH, and Bobbi Tyler of Center Ossipee, sons Arthur Johnson of Candia, NH and Alan Johnson of Canterbury NH. Judy had 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by parents,Jasper and Nellie Austin, of Tuftonboro NH, and siblings Beverly Brown,Jasper Austin Jr, Berton Austin, Charles Austin, Dean Austin, Gloria Smith, Dale Austin, Jaye Austin. Brothers and sisters surviving are Glenda Haddock, Kathryn Estes, Karen Holland, Daune Austin, David Austin, And numerous nieces and nephews.
Judy attended interlakes highschool in Meredith NH, Judith was employed by white mountain power company and for many years Hawkins safety equipment of wolfeboro NH. Some hobbies Judith enjoyed were crocheting, reading and watching loons from her lake house .
Per Judith's request there will be no calling hours or services, there will be a family celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her name to the charity of your choice.
The Baker-Gagne Funeral Homes of Wolfeboro and West Ossipee are assisting the family with the arrangements.
