Loretta Jean McLaughlin, 82 of Wolfeboro, NH formerly of Stoneham, MA passed away Feb. 11, 2021 at her home. Born in Stoneham, MA Feb. 27, 1939 daughter of the late John Edward and Ethel (Mahoney) Roach she had lived in Stoneham most of her life and moved to Wolfeboro 20 years ago. Loretta worked as a RN for the former New England Memorial Hospital in Stoneham for many years and at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro for 16 years retiring 3 years ago due to her health. She was a longtime parishioner at St. Patrick’s Church in Stoneham. In Wolfeboro she was a member of the Newcomers Club. Pre-Deceased by her husband James E. McLaughlin survivors include 3 sons James E. McLaughlin of Wolfeboro, John E. McLaughlin of Stoneham, Michael S. McLaughlin of Stoneham, 2 daughters Laurie J. McLaughlin of Wolfeboro, Maureen P. McLaughlin of Stoneham, 3 brothers Paul Roach, Gerald Roach, James Wadsworth all of Stoneham, a sister Patricia Donahue of Stoneham and 8 grandchildren. A funeral mass will be 10:00 AM Tuesday Feb. 16 at St. Patrick’s Church in Stoneham. Burial will follow in Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Judes Children’s Hospital. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home of Wolfeboro is assisting with the arrangements.
