BAKER-GAGNE FUNERAL HOMES Monument Co. and Cremation Service P.O. Box 2295 Wolfeboro, NH 03894 Mill St. Rt. 16 Wolfeboro, NH West Ossipee, NH (603) 569-1339 (603) 539-3301 www.baker-gagnefuneralhomes.com Louise Anne (Kelley/Cloyd) Griffiths passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2020, after a very short, but extremely courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by the love of her family until the very end. “LouAnne” was born on the 7th day of the 7th month, at the 7th hour, in the 7th year of the 1950s (July 7, 1957). She was the 7th child out of 8 beautiful children. 7 was her lucky number and she always reminded everyone of her lucky 7’s. LouAnne was born in Methuen, Massachusetts, and was raised in Lawrence where she resided until adulthood. She attended St. Mary’s Grammar School; Class of 1971, St. Mary’s High School; Class of 1975, and Northern Essex Community College; Class of 1977, where she graduated with her Associates in Business. LouAnne dedicated her life’s work to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In her various roles, one thing was certain, she always went above and beyond to help others. She retired from the Valleyworks Career Center as the Business Services Representative in 2017. She loved her job and all the beautiful souls she encountered and made an impact on all of their lives. In her retirement, she spent countless hours volunteering at a local animal shelter, where she continued to interact with inspiring people and animals. LouAnne’s greatest personal achievement was her son Matthew. She was so proud of him and the kind, hardworking man he has grown to be. She enjoyed going on mountain vacations, where they skied and snowboarded. She also loved to visit Matty at his beautiful new home to bond over home organization and decor. Louanne and her husband, John, spent the last many years traveling together and retired to the beautiful New Hampshire mountains. Every day they opened up their home to family and friends to share laughs and all of their love. LouAnne will be missed tremendously by all who knew her. LouAnne is remembered with love by her husband, John Griffiths, formerly of Merrimac, MA, and her son Matthew Cloyd of Townsend, MA. She and John were blessed to share a blended family with Kenneth Cloyd Sr., and his partner Michelle Turcotte of Pepperell, MA, Judith Cloyd, of Townsend, MA, and son Kenneth Cloyd Jr., of Groton, MA; her brothers and sister, Thomas Kelley Sr. and wife, Penny of Atkinson, NH, Guy F. Kelley and partner, Kathy DeNicola of Lawrence, MA, David Kelley and wife, Diana of Haverhill, MA., Penelope Bardsley of Byfield, MA, and Andrew Kelley and wife, Teresa of Andover, MA. LouAnne was also loved by so many nieces and nephews, all of which filled her heart with so much joy every single day. She is predeceased by her parents, Guy and Mary Kelley (Lafond), of Lawrence, MA, her brother, Mark Kelley of Pelham, NH, and sister, Paula Kelleher of Lawrence, MA. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life are being planned for Spring 2021. Friends and family will be notified once arrangements are finalized. In lieu of flowers, LouAnne asked that financial contributions or volunteer time be made to a local animal shelter in her memory. Her favorite shelter was Conway Area Humane Society, 223 East Main Street, Conway, NH 03818. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home of West Ossipee, NH is assisting the family with the arrangements.
