Marjorie Jane Voedisch passed away Sunday October 9th at her residence at Sugar Hill in Wolfeboro, NH of natural causes. She was 91 years old. Born November 10, 1930 in Norwood, MA and raised in Walpole, MA, Marge graduated from Walpole High School and received a certificate in physical therapy from Boston University. Marjorie met the love of her life, George Voedisch, while working in Boston and they were happily married for over 50 years. They moved to Wolfeboro, NH in 1970. Marge was active in the community as a Girl Scout leader and Real Estate Broker and was philanthropically engaged supporting various Christian ministries, the Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO) for women’s higher education, and lake conservation efforts. She is survived by her daughter Penny Mefford of St. Johns, FL and her son Kurt Voedisch of Pompano Beach, FL. Visitation will be at the Baker-Gagne Funeral Home on Mill Street in Wolfeboro, NH on Friday, October 14 from 4-6 pm. A memorial service will be held at the First Christian Church on North Main Street, Wolfeboro, NH on Saturday, October 15th at 11:00 am.
