Matthew R. Stewart, 32 of Tamworth passed away suddenly January 24, 2019 of a brain aneurysm, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. Born in North Conway, NH April 29, 1986 son of Susan Stewart, he has lived in Tamworth all of his life. Matt was a skilled carpenter and begrudgingly worked for A&M Builders in Tamworth. Recently he and his wife started gardening, landscaping, and enjoying the many pleasures of life. Matt enjoyed bow hunting, pickling, beef jerkying, scuba diving, creating incendiary devices, and sharing his love for all animals and his many friends. He is survived by his wife Jacquelyn, Mother Susan Stewart of Tamworth, Step-Son Noah Sheridan, Brother David Stewart, Grandmother Janet McAvoy, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many, many friends. Matt was a beautiful, giving man, with a huge heart and an explosive personality. He instantly lit up a room with his huge smile, exuberant personality, dark sense of humor, and his ability to connect with people. He has touched the hearts of many, and will never be forgotten. Services will be announced privately. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service of West Ossipee is assisting the family with the arrangements.
