Robert Lawrence Ackerson

Robert Lawrence Ackerson, 81 of Pauli Point Rd., Freedom, NH passed away Monday April 3, at his home with his wife at his side.

            Born in Portland, ME March 29, 1942 son of the late Lawrence and Beatrice (McMich) Ackerson, he has lived in Freedom on Lake Ossipee since 1998 moving there from Groveland, MA.

            Bob worked as an engineer for Lucent Technology for many years.  He enjoyed camping and traveling in his motorhome, fishing and ice fishing on Lake Ossipee, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and boating on the lake.

            Survivors include his wife JoAnn (Dupont) Ackerson of Freedom, a son Robert Ackerson JR of Loudon, NH a daughter Becky Hunter of PA, a sister Patricia King of Atkinson, NH and several grandchildren.

            There are no services.
