Roger Anderson 81, of Madison, NH passed away Aug. 10 peacefully surrounded by his family.
Roger was born in East Orange, NJ March 11, 1943 son of the late George B. and Maureen (Brugerman) Anderson. He resided in several areas of NJ for many years. He began his working career for the Port Authority as an electrician and later opened his own business Anderson Electrical Contracting.
Roger relocated his family to New Hampshire in 1989 where he remained as a local resident in Madison. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a proud member of the National Rifle Association.
Roger was pre-deceased by his parents, a brother Ralph Anderson and a son Brett Anderson. Survivors include his beloved wife of 44 years Dorothy (McCloskey) Anderson, his loving children George Anderson and his wife Caterina, Eric Anderson and Ian Anderson and his wife Lindsley. He was affectionately known as Grandpa and Pop Pop to his cherished grandchildren Nicholas, Evan, Ava, Austin and Xander.
Burial will be in Gilman Cemetery at a later date.
